Princess Warrior Organization
Jane Fiemeyer, a vibrant second-grader at Wadena-Deer Creek Elementary School was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of seven. Jane had a dream to find a cure for cancer so others didn’t have to be in pain. Before she died, she shared a wish that her legacy would continue in many ways, one of that being a 5K event. The Princess Warrior Run, Walk, Roll, Stroll or Crawl is a Jane-like way to make her dream of a 5K and her dream of finding a cure for cancer a reality.

The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army is always in need of volunteers, funding, and food items in which to help the people in our communities during hard times. They help large amounts of people each year, in many different ways, which is why we have chosen to help stock their food shelves by donating any food items brought into our office. Items can be dropped off right in our entryway, and left on the pantry. We will make sure they get delivered in a timely manner.

Habitat for Humanity
We have supported Habitat for Humanity for the last several years. It amazes us every year how many families and people they are able to help, and the number of people’s lives they have changed for the better is amazing. If we are able, we will continue to support Habitat for Humanity in their endeavors in our community for many years to come.

Meals On Wheels
We have chosen to donate to the Meals on Wheels program in the Staples area because there is a lot of need, especially in the rural areas, for food delivery to the elderly. Again, with COVID19 shutting down so much in our communities, we are grateful to have been able to help with some of the financial burden which has fallen on our communities.
